- Locate and lease a 5,000-square-foot commercial space for a warehouse and administration office.
- Build out inventory shelving. Rent or buy used desks and chairs,
- Install computer wiring, and buy refurbished office computers, printers. Install bar-code scanners for inventory to receive products from manufacturers into warehouse inventory.
- Prepare shipping and install programming control on the servers for each serial number embedded in each product received from manufacturers.
- Install a telephone system with an 800 number.
- Engage the HR. company for the home office and outside sales engineers for the north-east region of the U.S.
- Place job ads in local newspapers. Positions will include qualified employees trained for customer service. and will have a direct connection to the serial number of each customer’s device to assist them in programming if needed.
- Our engineering and industrial design teams will complete negotiations with two qualified and reputable electronic device manufacturers to begin building our MVP (minimum value products).
- Each manufacturer will be required to serialize each device, serialize each shipping box, scan the content, and provide a bill of lading for each serialized device in the shipping box for inventory control.
- Email us the shipping details of pending orders prior to shipping for inventory control.
- Insurance coverage (key man) policies for founders and 50% contribution for employees. Add Protect Liability to the insurance policy.
- Place orders from manufacturers during the pre-production period. Register orders and ship them to customers.
